If you are lucky enough to book a table then you are in for a treat. We went along early (at 6.30pm) and managed to secure the last table for the evening. Evening service starts at 7.30pm and I think if you haven't booked you will probably struggle to get a table. The main courses we tried, a Cote de... More

A great little place run by a small but very friendly staff. The food was excellent and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a nice, well-cooked dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.

Madame Gaëlle is the chef. She worked with French chef Jean Louis Paladin at the Watergate in Washington, DC a few years ago. Her brother, Alexis serves their guests in this small restaurant. I can't say enough good things about how the two siblings work together to bring their guests a memorable dining experience in a very friendly, unpretentious way.... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel (Pullman) who also helped us get reservations for four. The restaurant opened at 7:30 but we arrived at 7:00 so we had a glass of wine at the large bar next door. Once seated at our restaurant, our waiter (also co owner) presented the chalkboard menu and explained (in English!) what each item... More

This is an atypical review, because we didn't actually eat here. We were walking in the area and decided at the last minute to try to get a table for two on a Wednesday night, our last night in town. When approaching the still-closed exterior, a guy engaged us, saying that he was the co-owner and that they were fully... More

This restaurant is a Toulouse treasure. If offers a small but varied delightful menu of choices. While the steak frites appeared popular we ordered the squid, the amazingly fresh foie gras and the scallop salad with prosciutto which was terrific. The wine was well chosen.

It IS possible to get a great salad in France and here is where to go. And the rib of lamb was nearly as good. This restaurant is run by a brother and sister team - yes, only the two of them for a fabulous dining experience. I am not going to repeat what others have already said but this... More

Charismatic waiter offering the menu on a chalk board and really making a show of the food served. Together with 5 colleagues we enjoyed a three-course meal at Le Bistro during an evening out in April. The menu (on the chalk board) was in French, but the owner spoke good English and made an effort to help us make our... More

Fantastic little restaurant with good prices for Toulouse. Very friendly staff and good food, well presented. I had the 'Emincé de volaille' et le 'cheesecake au chocolat' all was very nice. The kids had some very tasty burgers.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere, food, drinks and service. A wonderful way to end our 4 week holiday in southern France.
