If you want a delicious low cost meal influenced by regional cuisine you cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Hearty duck confit or magret de canard served with the possibly the best potato fries in Toulouse are on the menu here and are excellent value.

Pros: Fried camembert starter was very nice Cons: Starter given was not the one ordered Food came out so quickly that it couldn't have been fresh Unpleasant yet expensive wine No new cutlery was given between courses Rice with the main was very bland I did not like the prawns Generally too expensive for the overall quality/experience

Had lunch here tucked away in the corner. Because we tried our halting French, both madame and monsieur were chatty and friendly and welcoming. The food was superb, their own version of cassoulet one of the best dishes I ever had, wonderful salads, great wine and great value. If you want something authentic , it would be hard to beat... Let's start with the food We had a duck evening eating for starter the foie gras and duck breasts or leg. It was just excellent. Home made and tasty foie gras with very good figue jam. Appart from well cooked duck the big part of the meals were the excellent sauces (mushrooms or foie gras, both very tasty). All served... More

The dishes were very good, not unforgettable, and not too expansive. The wine we took was served cold and I couldn't get its taste until the dinner was over.

We ate here twice in a week due to the wonderful dishes. It is a small patio cafe located near the park and water area. There is a limited number of tables inside as well. The plates offered were regional dishes and simply delicious. We had the Sea Bass with lime, lamb shank, and duck breast. All were excellent. We... More

Stuck up waiters, look down on you, dont make eye contact, its almost done on purpose so as to have less clients to wait for, at least thats how we felt.

We have been waiting for an hour for our dishes. The service was terrible. They ignored us for the first 30 minutes. Both the owner and the waiters were very rude. Worst place in France to eat.

Had a very pleasant relaxed lunch here. Duck is there speciality and the magret was excellent. Atmosphere was good with lunchtime trade. Definitely worth a try.

We found this petit bistro in one of the main streets that lead to Capitol square. The venue is small and nice and they have a good wine list and a complete menu. The canard formule is afordable and the courses delicious. So far, everything pretty good. it's a real shame the slow and uncorteous service almost ruined the experience.... More
