Decided to use this restaurant as base for school day trip to Christmas Market. The wonderful proprietor allowed us a table by the door all day - even though the restaurant was hugely busy - so a teacher could sit there on a rota all day so pupils could check in! We all drank lots of coffee and ate many... More

We stopped for tea and were bitterly disappointed at the price of what turned out to be the weakest tea I have ever drunk. The only tea that was acceptable was the camomile.

I came here myself for some lunch after being out in the city all day. It was well air conditioned; bliss from being out in the summer sun all morning. I wasn't sure what to get, so went for a lovely vegetarian option. I wasn't sure what to expect, however my expectations were exceed for sure! A lovely selection of... More

Instead of having breakfast at our hotel we started our day at Le Pain Quotidien. This Bio oriëntated place was cosy and proven to be a great start of the day. The pain au chocolate was freshly baken and the granola very nice! The coffee was also good and fresh orange juice delicious. The sell home made product in the... More

Le Pain became my go-to for breakfast in both France and Belgium. For a bit less than the cost of the buffets in the hotels, there is a nice selection of options that will satisfy most people quite well.

After an average breakfast we have forgotten two eyeglasses (sunglasses and expensive reading glasses) on the table when we left. Called a few hours later and were told that they have found them. Since we had moved on already, asked them to send them to Paris on our expense - they promised to call back, which never happened. Called them... More

Hosted a business associate for late lunch here in the last few weeks as a new place to try at Lille. The service was a little slow (it was later in the lunch rush) and the smoked salmon salad, fine breads and incredible and delicate balsamic vinaigrette were the most gorgeous fresh flavours. This is a casual place run by... More

Open on Sundays! We had a lovely breakfast. There is plenty to choose from, the croissants were great, as well as the hot chocolate.

If you are in Lille, do visit this restaurant.Their food is amazing and the concept their restaurant is based on is attractive. All the things are organic, that is the best part of this restaurant. If I ever go to France again I will surely visit this place again.

This is a very quaint place to stop and have refreshments. The picher of house wine was good and served at the correct temperature. We all ordered croque monsieur dishes which were served with a small salad & French dressing - this part of the meal was acceptable. However, the croquet monsieur were so disappointing. They were basically dry toasted... More
