We arrived in Bayeux and tried to reserve a dinner spot at another restaurant, but they were booked. Our hotel clerk suggested this place, and we are grateful he did. The food and service were both excellent! Two women waiting on all tables up and downstairs did a fabulous job. Our first meal was so good that we booked for... More

We enjoyed seafood in puff pastry, and entrees of pork, chicken and fish in an upstairs dining room. Most of the other mid-week diners were cheerful French-speakers.

Great food and service! We dined upstairs, overlooking the Cathedral. The food was amazing.. Fish in Burre Blanc sauce was my favorite, with the tiramisu very close behind.

We got here just before they were to stop serving lunch, but they seated us and fixed us lunch. Most of us got omlettes and salad. Very good.

what an excellent end to our Easter trip to France. This was not our first choice restaurant, but We were lucky to have found our original choice fully booked. Each course was well presented and full if flavour. We both chose the €29 three course menu options. My starter was the Salmon stuffed with crayfish. This was light, fresh and... More

We had a delicious price fixed meal with a lovely view of the Notre Dame Cathedral lit up at night. The staff was very helpful and understanding when we didn't speak french. Most French people do speak a bit of english, even though they say they cannot. It is the Americans who do not speak ANY French!

The owners are very friendly, the food was really good, had a lovely mixed shellfish starter followed by a beautiful piece of roasted cod and then the most amazing tart tartin, my friends steak wasn't the best but you can't win them all, book in advance as always busy.

Directly across from Norte Dame - a real gem. Wonderful salads. Beers outstanding. French onion soup superb. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended. My photo of the cathedral taken from our table.

We visited this restaurant whilst cruising on the Seine, and making a day trip to Bayeux. For under 17 euros we had a three course meal , with 4 or 5 choices for each course. Everything was excellent. I started with a delicious seafood puff pastry, then had chicken in a tasty sauce with vegetables and potatoes, and then a... More
