I booked in advance with a group from the area which would be great business for this restaurant. In fact, booking was difficult as the owner wasn't interested in group reservations even though we went for 6 pm. Service was ok but the owner didn't even come over to say hello. Waitresses kind and the food not as good as... More

This is a quirky little café/restaurant where nothing matches. The waiters and owner are first class and nothing was too much trouble. We found Dolly's because they have gluten free food but we went back for the desserts. The cheesecake and crunchie cake were out of this world. Warning sometimes you are given a low table where the seats are... More

Dolly's is run by fellow Brit's and is a great place for a proper piece of cake or a plate of fish and chips. Always very busy whenever we have visited - we have not been able to get in on a number of lunch times, so booking may be advisable if this is your only choice. The food is... More

Fantastic food, location a little odd but very family, suitable for all ages. Friendly staff. May have to reserve for lunches as always full . Atmosphere is non serious and one can spend a long brunch/lunch and even push into the tea time.

This place has good food, a combo of British and French menu items. More cocktails and beer than wine. The have a friendly staff and the owner speaks English (she's British). The prices are great. The seating is like being in someone's small, crowded home. This is a very quirky little place!

Whatever the food you like, Whatever you want to try (burgers, crumbles, ..), you will not be disapointed. Fresh food, good tasty cooking. Of course I'm fond of cheesecake, it's undoubtly the best you can eat in Normandy! Waiters and their boss are so helpful, professionnaly rigorous, that's becoming rare and precious.

I like the atmosphere of this place, a place that you cannot find anywhere else in Caen except for the vegan restaurant. I love the food but we missed the smile from the waiters sometimes. Anyway, if you come around Caen, this is defenitely a place to come and have some food or thw delicious cheese cake ;)

Loved the little bit of genuine British eccentricity in Caen. Thanfully at the quirky and cool end of Britishness and not the naff end that is so typical abroad. Great burgers, pleasant and quick service. Reasonable pricing. Clearly popular with locals. Recommended.
