The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, Patrick was very helpful with our selection. I had the scallops they were prepared perfectly and delicious. My companion has the sole it was good not great. Service was very nice. The cost was a little more then anticipated we thought we were getting 21 euro menu each ended up being being around 90... More

This place is what you might call a tourist trap - great location with overview of the picturesque Honfleur harbour with poor service and rubbish food.Seafood we had felt hastily unfrozen and same goes for the cake, wine was average with above average price and coffee was a genuine disaster. Mussels (moules) were dried out as if they attempted to... More

Not up to the standard I normally expect in a french restaurant. The waiter was constantly trying to sell us the most expensive items on the menu and wine list, even after we had made it clear we were not interested. The service continued to be poor with us asking four times for one of our drinks before it was... More

Normandy menu. Seafood was excellent as usual. Duck was good, fish was good but not haute cuisine. Good, laid-back service. Not a top notch restaurant, but good, friendly and satisfying. View of the harbour.

Keen maitre d' got lots of customers in. Location right on the port is excellent. Nice warm patio heaters. However the waitress's face hardly cracked - surly - service with a smile would have been nice! Food was served very promptly, though, which was welcome since we needed to get to Le Havre for a ferry. Starters were only lukewarm,... More

Arrived Honfleur thirsty and hungry. Waitress heavily tattooed with ginger hair, totally disinterested in anything other than extracting as much money as possible for very, very poor food and drink at exhorbitant prices. Food is the very worst,I had eaten in France tired salad and very little else. 9 euros for a short measure of 50cl warm beer is not my... More

The choice is overwhelming in Honfleur so opted for Maitre D who offered loudest! Perfect - sat on the edge of the basin, balmy beautiful summer's evening, swift efficient service, tasty local seafood - what's not to like? Kept us in holiday mode for as long as possible before the quick hop over La Seine to catch the ferry.

We stopped here on our first evening in town, enticed by the superb looking seafood platters. The restaurant is right on the edge of the Vieux Bassin and offers tables on the quayside or inside the narrow building that houses the main restaurant. We ate inside as it was a bit chilly, and had a floor to ourselves, but as... More

It's always interesting to read the reviews after you have eaten somewhere. I am a little surprised to see just how vehement some are in how bad it was, when we found it quite good. They coked some fish just tot he liking of my son, who is a picky eater; the fries were good, my lamb was delicious, and... More

We were looking for a fruits de mer and chanced upon this place. Friendly owner/waiter and one huge platter of seafood later we were very pleased we found it! Nice seat right in the main big window and if we had stayed longer we would have visited again. A good find.
