Nine of us wanted coffee mid morning on Easter Saturday but all the places along the stretch of water looked more like restaurants. So we asked at "Ancora" (or "Pizza Gino" whatever it's actually called!) if it would be ok for us to just have coffee. They were very quiet and the friendly waiter said yes. We settled into some... Only had drinks but the service was really good and accommodating. Would definitely recommend, especially after some bad experiences at other places in the area.

I wish I had looked at previous reviews before we went there for lunch with our grandchildren! This must be the worst restaurant in Honfleur for service(non existent), food(when it arrived) and price. I would not advise anyone to go there. Nobody apologised for this dreadful experience. We were the first to arrive at the restaurant, waited 25 minutes for a... More

Really can't be bothered to list the failings other than to recommend you avoid this place in a similar way it's best to avoid a dose of bubonic plague.

With all the choices of places to eat it would appear that we found the worse restaurant in Honfleur! Unappetising food, no atmosphere and very expensive. Wished we looked on Trip Advisor before we went as definitely wouldn't have bothered - best avoided.

If you are in the mood for Spagetti, you want Spagetti. We tried both the Pomodoro and the Bologanise, a salad de printemps, a large Pellegrino sparkling water and a glass of Chianti. At €53.50, it is not inexpensive. But on a cool night, the heaters warmed us, the outdoor view and sights made this a fine evening for dining.... More

The place was packed so we thought it was a nice spot to go to. Once we sat done we realized that the had TVs on with loud music making it quite unpleasant. We were cold so just decided to put up with it. The waiter was rude and impatient. The pizza had a hole in it, the crepes' batter... More

We did lunch here as our young kids live on spaghetti. Service was good and also child friendly waiters. The adult pizzas were good quality and we had no problems. The kids menu food was also enjoyed and good value. No complaints and happy to recommend. Probably €60 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Fair value.

With a few hours to kill before sailing home from Dieppe, we decided to spend some time in Honfleur. We had previously visited several years ago so knew the layout of the town. After a substantial breakfast we skipped lunch, opting for a meal at around 6.00 pm. Unfortunately most restaurants don't serve dinner until 7.00 pm, although one advertised... More
