Spent a few hours in Honfleur. Lovely picturesque town. Ate lunch here. Mussels in Camembert sauce was lovely. Second dish was fish, also lovely, but the salad consisted of lettuce and cucumber only. Service excellant, but difficult to order a second drink!

I chose this creperie cafe because I only had a short time in Honfleur on a Sunday morning, and it was one of the first places to open up and with a snug area alongside the old port. I ordered a flambé calvados crepe washed down with a good pottery bowl full of local cider..lovely. My partner indulged in a... More

Charming and friendly staff who dealt with an under-cooked piece of salmon very well, but the service was very slow even when the restaurant became very nearly empty. The meals were okay, but expensive for what you get.

We had the set meal for €14.50. I ate goats cheese salad which was freshly cooked and the seasoning was so tasty. My husband had pate. For mains we had sliced chicken in a sauce and I had a small butchers steak cooked exactly as I liked. We also had a pitcher of local cider. The waitress was really friendly... More

Having read some of the previous reviews, I'm quite shocked. We took a chance and chose to eat here instead of one of the numerous restaurants along the basin. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome, the services was quick and attentive and the food was delicious and price-wise on a par with the other restaurants. The next... More

Great crepes, freshly prepared and quickly brought to the table. We came here for dessert and a glass of wine, having had dinner somewhere else in town. Service is friendly, and in a good location in the corner of the old port. Not cheap, but that is Honfleur for you.

This was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. We were well looked after. The food was very tasty. The location was great too.

We opted initially for the three course menu. The food was OK but the service was slow and we had to ask for bread 3 times. There was only one other party eating so it would appear there was no excuse. However it became apparent that there was some kind of disagreement going on between the manager and the chef... More

We booked a table for dinner on the first floor next to the window which was fantastic. An amazing view across the entire harbour. I wanted the Plateau de fruit de mer specifically. I thought it would come on a raised stand with ice etc as other restaurants have. Sadly this was not the case. It was presented on a... More

Great views of Vieux Bassin, but nothing beyond that. Service was good, but the food is mediocre and expensive for what you get. This was the only waterfront restaurant we visited in Honfleur, and I suspect others are pretty much the same. If you want the great view, pick one of them. If you want better food at more reasonable... More
