It was a challenge eating here Gluten Free. Minimal English spoken and the menu does not cater to gluten free. The manager finally came and could speak English. He was helpful and got us Salmon and fries. He also found us some gluten free bread. I appreciated his effort. The food is ok but pricy. The atmosphere is a little... More

We visited Brasserie Paul on Holy Saturday around noon and the place was packed with locals, which was the reason we chose the place over others around the Cathedral. My motto is never go where tourists stream to, always choose the places locals prefer. Food was exquisite, service was swift and friendly despite the crowd, prices were reasonable, but the... More

The chocolate was amazing served promptly. The coffee was slightly disappointing. A nice place to stop for a little break. I'd advise missing lunch time as the take away sandwich part was very busy with office workers. There was also just the one toilet shared between men and women.

Bought a lovely fresh baguette here for lunch but were slightly put off by the sparrows flying in and out of the display cabinet!

They have various stalls/shops selling quiche etc and the produce is very good. The meal was fine but spoiled by taking ages to try and pay. It's wasn't particularly busy, just disorganised. Was brought into the main part of the cafe after waiting outside for ages for someone to take my money, and then brought to three different tills/areas to... More

We just wanted a typical mid range French brasserie type meal and Paul's delivered. Good value menu and carte. Very nice and helpful staff, English menu if you need. Perfect smoked duck and fois gras salad, salami and bread followed by steak frites sirloin and filet, we had no room for a dessert or cheese.

We arrived late for lunch but were still welcomed into the brasserie by the manager. The table was set and drinks arrived very fast. I had the assorted sausages and my partner had smoked salmon salad. They were both lovely. The restaurant was clean, well appointed, the loos were good, the staff attentive and the price reasonable. 5*

Try the steak with homemade bernaise sauce, wow! You will not be disappointed. This restaurant is old school Parisian and from the moment you walk in you step back in time, like walking into the 1930's, red curtains hug the walls making you feel cosey and welcome, the staff are lovely, very attentive and you can sit for hours enjoying...
