Small menu (4 stArters, 3 mains, 5 deserts) but all of the dishes we chose were delicious. 31 euro for three courses, in the evening. Great wine recommended by the waiter!

Recommended by Michelin. Also it has obviously moved as Trip Advisor seems to think it has closed. It hasn't. Is now in the centre of Angers. The slightly rustic facade put my wife off but after some persuasion we went in and she was glad we had! Theme is old fashioned bistro, and the lunch was very much in that... More

We have been to Chez Remi numerous times and have always been happy with the food, service and atmosphere. The owner was always present. The staff speaks English and shows ownership in their work. Our waiter even tasted our wine before he served it because we had asked for an old vintage. Every year Remi takes his staff to Austin... More

The small menu was packed full of delicious options and many wines with wine-matchings possible. The food was delicious and the service attentive

It's a nice restaurant and serves very good food, but the choices are limited. Overall, while the quality was good, and it is not what you would really call expensive, I found it a bit pretentious, and over-priced for what you got. Wines in particular were dear, with not cheap house wine option. I quite enjoyed it, but will not... More

First visit to Chez Remi in it's new location on rue des 2 Haies. Seems a bit sombre from the outside but it's pleasantly airy inside with high ceilings, the same colour scheme as the old location and nice and quirky. We opted for the 18€ lunch menu and enjoyed a simple tomato and feta salad (simple but elegantly presented,... More

This restaurant has now closed and been replaced by a Burger joint! Such a sham as I wanted to try this place, and it had a good reputation.

This is an excellent restaurant, be sure to book as it is quite small and popular. The waiter is very efficient and knowledgable about wines without being in your face, very professional. The food cooked in a kitchen on view is excellent, quite fascinating watching the Chefs perform in what appears to be a casual manner but in fact very... More

This place is a few metres wide and looks like a glorified hut, but once you are inside the service, food and ambience are superb. You must try it unless you are looking for nouvelle cuisine or rich sauces on everything! This restaurant appears to be family run and everyone was charming. We were told by a local that this...
