We are staying at La Rochelle for one night so we picked this restaurant from TripAdvisor to ensure we got a good one. Entrées: Seafood pastry which taste like superb clam chowder :) while Chou Chou farci is very homemade. Plats: Fish of the day is fresh and well cooked, sauce with bit of sour enhance the dish, quinoa is... More

Very interesting menu options for a reasonable price. Good service although a bit slow but this doesn't really matter when sitting on a pleasant terrace, Recommended!

Tried to visit but the initial reception was so hostile and judgemental we decided to move on. Yes we were offered a table - but after being ignored and then the face pulling when we asked to sit outside rather than being compelled to go inside was astonishing. We decided to go elsewhere. The food might have been OK by... More

Took the family here for a light lunch while walking around La Rochelle. It's a small restaurant with a good atmosphere which serves very good food. We tried the fish burgers on their daily specials board and they were very good and filling. The service was good too so recommend a visit.

Nice small bistro, very friendly service. We enjoyed our meal (foie gras, burger, lomo). Very reasonable prices (25 for entre+plat+dessert). The selection of main dishes may be a bit restricted. We would go there again.

We visited this nice restaurant for a lunch and were not disappointed. We get the feeling that the personnel really cared about the food and if we are to return back to La Rochelle we would visit this place again.

We chose this restaurant based upon trip advisor reviews and we were pleased with our visit. The menu was unlike any other we has encountered during a 2 week trip in France and Spain. The potato waffle starter was odd and not amazing, but the remainder of the €25 3 course menu was good. Service was relaxed but sufficient.

My husband & I & our 3 daughters booked a table here after being disappointed on saturday evening when we called in & they were completely full (always a good sign). We were not disappointed - the owner was exceptionally friendly & helpful & we all had an excellent 2 course meal. I would highly recoomend visiting here but booking... More
