A slow Tuesday evening, ordering in French a pave de rhumsteak and that it be cooked medium rare, it arrived on my plate from the kitchen well done,...very well done!. With the consistency of a hockey puck, I only could manage to swallow half of it, which I did only cause I was hungry. Les pommes frites, thick and soggy,... More

Yet again we had an excellent meal at lunchtime. Very good value and lots of choice. The ambience is that of a garden shed with pans and pots etc all over the walls. Lovely.

With a dining area not much bigger than our lounge, and a kitchen smaller than that, they produce some excellent meals in a warm, cozy atmosphere. We went again for lunch and ordered the menu du jour. Both courses were tasty and filling and excellent value at 12.50€.

We stumbled upon this small restaurant on a Saturday night in Poitiers. The menu catered for all tastes, with a variety of fish dishes. There was a small mix up with our entrees but we were given a free drink (not that we had asked for it). Friendly (french speaking)staff, great atmosphere, and fabulous prices. We will return.

Hidden away down a little side street this gem of a restaurant is worth tracking down. But PLEASE don't all go there or there won't be space for me!

I had possibly the best meal of my life here, it was absolutely amazing! Slightly expensive but well worth the money, the food was perfectly cooked and served with a good selection of wines. The decor inside is very unique and appropriate to the name. Would definitely recommend it!

This is a small but lovely decorated (with garden implements)restaurant in Poitiers. We were lucky to get a table for two. Lovely food and wine. Enjoyed our meal and would recommend.

Yes, I think the gourmet TV chef would be pleased with this presentation at the very least; three of us ate here in early October and it was the right choice ( we walked to quite a few possibilities at both ends of the town before deciding!). Gaucamole with prawn starter was delicious and very ample beef mains were enjoyed... More

My husband and I had a meal here after I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and as it was convenient for our hotel we decided to go. However, we were both disappointed and can honestly say we have had much better food in England - sorry France! My husband chose the brochette of beef for his main and... More
