Pretty restaurant to stop by, We arrived a bit lake and they were kind to take us in and take our order without any problems. Beef not the best cut but well prepared, sauce was tasty. Potatoes gratin with a bit too much cream but tasty and crispy on top. Desserts tasty and well prepared. Overall experience is positive and... More

We dined twice (lunch and dinner) at the delightful, boutique restaurant. The two owner/brothers apparently moved this restaurant from the city center to the edge of downtown Aix a few years ago to build a more quiet, green, and inviting spot. They succeeded. (It's about a 10 minute walk from the center of town or 7 minutes from the Hotel... More

We had a reservation for dinner and were promptly seated. The service was fair- it took quite a while for the beverages. The waiter was not helpful at all in navigating the menu. The food was very mediocre- the piglet was somewhat dry. The highlight was the chocolate cake for desert. Overall we were very disappointed in an expensive meal... More

We arrived at 8 pm to find the restaurant entirely empty. We were approached by the maitre d' who asked our name. When I responded (in French), he insisted that I had cancelled the reservation. I told him that I that I had indeed called earlier in the day to confirm, but he continued to insist in a very annoyed... More

This is a place to go if you are a gourmet or wish to entertain a friend. It is tucked away in a residential area, but within walking distance of the town centre. It has a large terrace; the interior is ample. The food was good - we chose barigoule and rabbit terrine, "farcis" (stuffed vegetables) and "maigre" (?drumfish), cheesecake... More

Good food, trying to show some flair, but I was just not that impressed - many people do it better. I guess I am a little spoiled. I found that my pork dish was just a little too sweet - could have done with some balancing saltiness or sourness. That said, my husband loved his dinner, and the wine was... More

Hidden away in residential neighborhood - it's a little adventure to finally arrive at this little paradise. Must be lovely in summer. But we were enthralled. Greeted very warmly upon our arrival and we felt at home the entire time. But more importantly THE FOOD WAS GREAT. I was tempted by the lobster gratinée ... But opted for the lighter... More

Recommended the restaurant by the hotel, hidden in a housing estate we would have never have found it otherwise. Great snazzy but chilled atmosphere, staff were helpful and could have a joke with them & food was delicious. All round good evening, Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is my second year living in Aix and I was so relieved to finally find a really decent restaurant. It's just out of the centre - and I take this as a good sign - they can't rely on passing tourist trade but instead have a loyal local working crowd. Midweek it is full of business lunches. Food is... More

We stopped off in Aix quite late on our way to Marseilles and was happy to find Les 2 Freres would serve us. After trying to find parking for 20 minutes, eventually figured out the restaurant had it's own parking which was around the back and not very well lit. Service was good if not amazing... We ordered Bandol for... More
