Had dinner there twice. First night in a large group, and second time as a foursome. The food is very good. I watched my steaks getting cut and then grilled on an open fire. The Black Angus was better than the Fillet de Boef, but that's my personal preference. What sets this place apart from the other restaurants (I've tried... More

We ate there twice in january and were not disappointed. A small cosy bistro with very good meat dishes, we had once the black angus entrecote and the galician entrecote. Good wine selection and a very decent dessert menu. Well worth a visit when you are in Aix!

We had most delightful lunch on a cold and windy day. The waiter definitely was a professional and we had very good service. Lunch was also one of the highlights of our one week trip to Provence. Really good and tasty bistro food with excellence service. Warmly recommended!

A great find, we are won by the atmosphere of the place, a big open grill at the rear of the restaurant and small tables , just perfect for an intimate meal for two! We both had the 3 course Menu Bistrot (prawn & guacamole for entree, duck for main and a delicious fruit salad puree for dessert) and are... More

The sirloin that we had from the “Grill du Zinc” was extremely tender; this particular one was from France. They pride themselves on their red meats and offer various cuts from different regions and countries. They recommend Spanish “Boeuf de Buey” which my guest found to be very tasty. Looking at other menu items, the Iberian pork, "La Pluma, is... More

Typical story of a restaurant that got relatively famous and forgot how to treat clients with respect...quite a nice place otherwise, but the people serving there make it terrible. maybe its just France, but I'm not going back!

My wife and I wanted a departure from greens, so we headed to Le Zinc d'Hugo. It's tucked away on what I would consider a less busy street away from the small centers of the old city. It only has indoor seating, which worked great on what was a cool and windy May day. The gentleman who greeted us was... More

Amazing choices of meat/steaks chargrilled to perfection... Delicious Real pity about the mediocre dessert.. I doubt they were homemade.
