After arriving in Arles by train mid morning, checking into the hotel, walking through the market and visiting St Trophime, my appetite was healthy for a good lunch. This restaurant, just around the corner from the Place de Republique, did not disappoint I chose the estouffade de tarragon from the lunch menu, which was superb - very tender meat and... More

This restaurant has fantastic food. A great deal of thought has obviously been made in planning the menus and the dishes, all very interestingly presented (including the amuse bouches) and cooked to perfection. Every course had something extra, out-of-the-ordinary or simply spectacular to make this very special. Excellent service and overall very highly recommended. We sat in the upstairs area... More

This is a small restaurant and was completely full when we visited, so booking is recommended. There are tables downstairs near the open kitchen and upstairs. I sat upstairs, which is slight larger. Service was initially slow, since everyone seems to arrived at once, but speeded up later on, so it wasn't a problem. The menu is small, but that... More

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and mentioned in a Daily Telegraph guide. It is a small place on 2 floors ,with a few tables outside. The lower floor has about 4 tables around the open kitchen , and more tables are available upstairs, so I would recommend making a reservation . Pleasant, friendly service. Typical French cuisine, well... More

We visited this place on a Sunday lunch. The waitress was alone, and the service was extremely slow. The food was good, but rather heavy.

I visited la gueule du loup with my wife and baby and we loved it. The salads were great, and the Thon was fresh and perfectly cooked. Staff are way friendlier than any other restaurant in the region. Highly recommended.

Of our 5 nights in arles all the restaurants were great but we would have gone back for a second meal here. Food and service were both good; i had the bull stew which was tender and delicious.

Good greeting, pleasant staff and good service. Nicely presented and tasty French food, with some interesting regional dishes. It is expected that you order your desert when placing your order for the first and main course- so be prepared! The restaurant does get very busy and is not not that large, so I suggest that you book in advance.
