When you go out to eat in Avignon at this time of year there isn't much choice as most of the restaurants are closed. We stumbled across La Petite Peche by chance and thought we would give it a go. The board outside had some lovely choices on it. It was a shame when we sat down the waiter told... More

Excellent fish and lovely lemom sorbet! Small but cozy and reasonable prices. Not far from le palais des papes.

My wife and I had a wonderful Friday night dinner in this small and extremely friendly restaurant. This night only one other diner- a French woman from the neighborhood was in the restaurant. Every dish was excellent. We had mussels in curry and grilled sardines to start. Superb! Our main dishes, Turbo and a trout were cooked to perfection. The... More

This small restaurant is not fancy and there is only one waiter, but the quality is outstanding. There were four of us and each ordered something different. Appetizers and main courses were all delightful. The meal was reasonably priced, as well. As an added bonus, music came from a record player.

Lovely small restaurant. The fish was cooked to perfection, accompaniments were all ideal with fresh fish. I will return.

This restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere. It is located on a quiet corner away from the tourist flow. Most of all we enjoyed the relaxed feeling it somehow gave us. The menu was short and interesting, fish and local produce were central. A reasonable price and a happy occasion.

Such a lovely restaurant! Our hotel recommended it as "simple but fresh" and that is a good summary. It is not fancy, but is elegant and the food is high quality, well prepared and delicious. No English translations (a good sign of it NOT being a tourist trap), so you need your French to make out the chalkboard menu. Highly... More

We had this small fish restaurant recommend by our hotel. The fish dishes were superb and the staff so friendly and welcoming. It's a bit hidden away but worth finding for sure.

We live in central London and nearby there are a lot of restaurants that are trying really hard to be 'edgy' : mismatched furniture, tired decoration, concept menus, stick on beards. All contrived and combined with poor service, the food so-so and overpriced. The same cannot be said for le petit peche! We had a very good fish supper one... More
