We ordered the oyster and goose liver for appetizer then lamb and La Bulle for dessert. Everything taste above par. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Love the service too.

Had a tomato and mozzarella starter, and a steak. Everybody else seemed to be drinking wine or soft drinks, but decided I would prefer a beer. Not something that they actually had on the menu card, but they were able to offer an Heineken. The restaurant probably wasn't a good choice for what I wanted.

We found this place when were looking for something simple and casual to eat. It was chilly so we wanted to be indoors. Not all the restaurants with outside tables in the Place d'Horloge have a proper inside. This one does. It is ornate, even garish and not what we think of as typically French, but intriguing. Anyway I was... More

Came here on a local recommendation but it was the worst meal we've had in Avignon. Slow service - 50 minutes to get our food, surly waiter, wrong order (for 1 of the meals) and terrible food. For a burger and steak we paid €46. A tourist trap for sure.

We stopped for a bit of afternoon tea. Very interesting decor inside and shared toilets between men and women (a bit strange ). Ordered 2 café viennois and a jug of water with a raspberry sorbet and a meringue dessert. Took ages to be served then coffees arrived, they forgot the water then water arrived and ages after the desserts... More

Did not eat here but just stopped for drinks in the evening. Not the cheapest but worth it. Sat on the covered terrace with heaters and blankets for the legs if needed. Resto itself looked busy with locals which is a good sign

We ordered a simple glass of vin chaud. The service was slow and stern. The vin chaud was horrible AND expensive. This place is located in the main city square, atop the main avenue and across from the Opera House. For this reason, it is often very busy with tourists and visitors, as are the competing places around it. As... More

A perfect stop for lunch after visiting the Pope's Palace. We had ideal weather and enjoyed people-watching and nearby carousel. Not the place to eat if you're an American in a hurry, but food was delicious and worth the very pleasant wait. I had salmon and scallops on a skewer. Cooked to perfection.

We were very pleasantly surprised by a good meal and an attentive waiter in this small cafe on one end of Place de l'Horage (see other review of Le Forum, right next door). This isn't fine dining and you should not expect that, but the meals we had were well prepared and the experience was enjoyable.

Across from Opera House and the double decker Merry Go Round. A nice outdoor seating area. Food was good and service was also.
