Famous, but cheap and friendly: really, really worth the trip. Come here for a proper French meal: I really enjoyed the herring in olive oil followed by the duck in pepper sauce. The staff have some English, but there were locals visiting as well. The setting is amazing - sit in the arcade if you can - and the village/town... More

We have a holiday home in Valbonne and thought it was time I gave a review on the restaurants in the village. This is by far the most popular restaurant for both French and visitors to Valbonne. Having been going there for 7 years, we have seen many changes. Around 3 or 4 years ago, we felt that the standard... More

Les Arcades is the oldest restaurant in Biot located in the heart of the historical center. This is a Must place to enjoy real traditional Provencal food, made with a thousand flavors of our region. Let yourself entertained by Marco, the son of the founders. He will sing in Italian, he will make you feel happy and of course will... More

Setting perfect, service good (as long as you don't get their backs up). Ok menu but overall food not as good as some other options in the area.

Went along with friends for dinner - staff were really accommodating as we had some last minute additions and the restaurant was busy but they were really cheerful and helpful. Always appreciate the small dishes of olives and pickles offered along with the aperitifs so that was a nice touch. The menu is small - which I prefer as I'm... More

Eating out on the road leading to the church was a pleasant enough experience. The restaurant part of the Hotel had a very good menu choice of delicious dishes including local soups and meats and fish. Overall it was a very good experience and to be recommended. Some of the pricing was quite high for first course dishes.

When welcoming us this place was very friendly. But the food was not at all well cooked - and overpriced. For your own good - go to another restaurant. If you can't find it in Biot - drive to the next city.

We jumped to the place without reservations but it was pretty crowded. We liked the atmosphere and the food. I do not recommend fish dishes, but the rest was fine.

..A must in the old village of Biot. The Owners are an old family of the village. They have an extraordinary collection of modern art. The dishes just keep on coming. The service was typically rustic.

First off, Biot is an amazing village on the edge of the mountains looking down to the Cote d' Azur . Les Arcades puts out tables in the open-air courtyard, strings lights and then presents you with an array of Provencial dishes from which to choose. Our kids (19, 15, 10) were adventurous and made some spectacular choices. The waiter... More
