Le Gustave 5 is situated on the seafront on the Promenade des Anglais. There are indoor and outdoor tables – many with a lovely sea view. The menu and food were both great with good service. It is a good venue for groups.

We ate here at mid day mid week, the premises are open 'non stop' until closing time where people stop off for snacks, meals, beers, coffee, etc. It was pretty empty. I chose mussels in a mild curry sauce from the daily dishes available and my wife beignets. I'm a bit of a mussel fanatic but these did nothing for... More

Reasonably priced food comes along with the quality. Good for a quick bite if you feel a bit hungry in the afternoon during your walks in Nice.

From the time of ordering the food (pasta) to having it on the table did not give me enough time to finish my cup of coffee... - and the food was tasty and not expensive at all, certainly not for the position of the restaurant on the Promenade des Anglais. We did not expect too much when stepping in for... More

The restaurant was empty when we arrived( a bad sign?), but did fill up later. The staff were polite and the set menu was good value €21 for three courses. My meal was lovely, I enjoyed the Minestrone Soup, Grilled Salmon and Creme Brûlée. However my husband said his beef was terrible. The real shock was when the bill came,... More

We visited this restaurant with my two friends and evening was very bad for them .. creditcard machine didn't work and "there are no pizza today". For us they told about pizza issue beforehand, but there vere few other groups, which spend time with the menus, and heard after choosing the vine and PIZZA, that it is not possible to... More

Good spot for eating and people watching on the Prom. We had a good pasta dish and a good prawn dish. Around us were large servings of mussels which people were happy with and lots of pizzas. Service was very good and friendly.
