It;s a treat just eying the side walk seafood display on an enormous bed of ice, then you find you can go inside and be eat virtually anything you see. You order almost cafeteria style, pay and are given a locator that directs the server where to bring your oysters or whatever you ordered

We decided literally at the last minute to go out for a date night. We have been together for just shy of 5 years, and have kind of settled into a typical couples routine of daily life. Wake up, get ready, go to work, come home, have dinner, clean up, watch telly and head off to bed. Well, we decided... More

This self service restaurant is a good choice for platters of seafood or fresh fish and chips. You queue up, order, pay then the waitress brings your freshly cooked, (or raw!) meal to your table. It all works very well, quick, reasonable prices.

nice & easy way to order, it's a must in Marseille for a good & fresh seafood plate. And it's open every single day, for lunch and dinner.

We stopped in Marseille on a cruise and went to Toinou. One of the best meals we have had on our trip. Fresh, simply prepared, and a wonderful price in our opinion. Truly a taste of the ocean.

Top Fruit du Mer at very affordable prices and fresh; should be in top 10. BUT take your time choosing ingredients (some shells are just not so nice; and forge mussels gratinee starter: tons of garlic on 6 small mussels)

Our hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant. We saw many tanks of fresh seafood right outside the restaurant. We saw a cooler of condiments after we entered the restaurant. Then the French menu was written behind the register. There was an English menu but it's as extensive as the French one. We asked questions about the sea urchins but couldn't understand... More

It's obviously a place the locals use. Fresh fish on display outside on large beds of ice. All looking very enticing. Then as you go in you realise that this is no ordinary restaurant. It's a self serve choose what you want, how you want it. Put it all together and take it to the till point where they will... More
