Went for dinner. The rstaurant is situated at the end of a road in a small fishing port outside of Marseille, so you will need transport. The decor is beautiful, the food is very good, but the service is prompt and a little unfriendly. Shame as it was going to get a perfect.

This is my 3rd or 4th visit here. The location is unique, the food is local, excellent and creative. The service is very good too. Make sure you book though ...

We started with good pizza and even better mussels for appetizers. I had the duck breast with potatoes gratin, and it was seriously the best meal I've had in a long time. Duck was cooked perfect and the gratin was the best I'd ever had! And trust me, my wife is from marseille so I am familiar with this type... More

This restaurant has recently undergone a change of ownership and some renovation. Located in a small village at the end of the seaside road, a few kilometers from City center, this restaurant does not shine by its accessibility. Moreover, it is in a small one-way street, with no view on the sea. If you look for the cave suggested by... More

It might be a bit difficult to go to this restaurant if you don't have your own car but it's really worth the visit, especially when the weather is nice. There's a nice courtyard where you can have a drink with a slice of an excellent pizza and the terrace is equally nice but you might also eat in the... More

We cornered a coffee and wine after the walk. Since it was not yet time for dinner, the restaurant, the garden was occupied one table and us. The waitress at the next table and we talked for a long time ignored, just said that now come. So before we ordered missed 10 min. Another took time, but it brought back... More

This is my "go to" restaurant just outside Marseille. A 15 min drive along the coast to Callelongue, the setting in the minuscule fishing village is magical. The fact that you can't see the sea from La Grotte is material. The internal courtyard and indeed the high ceiling end main dining room more than make up for that. Don't come... More

Ate here with a group of friends just recently. Very lovely setting right across the street from the old port. Different seating options inside or outside. The menu was very good and the food was prepared properly. If they have the mussels au gratin I highly recommend them as they were exceptionally good. They even had a quite acceptable pizza.... The last 5 minutes of the longish drive out to Callelongue was indeed spectacular, but most of the earlier run out from Vieux Port was congested and rather unattractive. The setting of the cove and the restaurant is charming, and we were admitted by a very helpful traffic controller inside the chain restricting entrance to the hamlet itself, which resulted... More

A 40 Euro Taxi ride out from the Vieux Port - it was certainly worth it. Ambiance, food - with a particular mention to the Moules gratinées starter and service were all excellent. French and friendly, if you are in the area give it a go
