This restaurant is all about the view and the fact that if you are staying at the hotel, you are pretty much a captive audience. No a la carte menu. Food looked good, nicely presented but totally bland. Ridiculous prices, we ate a lot of bread rolls that evening! Cheapest bottle of wine €40, most in the 000's Once the... More

Shocked by the prices but looking back, I will never forget that meal at La Table de l'Abbaye. I guess it's the best combination of view, ambience, service and exquisite, refined food.

Absolutely wonderful evening. Superb service, great location with a terrace view that is jaw-dropping - but the meal is as well. Not a 'bargain' restaurant, but a superb gourmet meal. The most expensive of our 10 day stay, but very much worth it. We started with a crab and sea bass cannelloni - not huge but amazing taste. Then a... More

The staff are very accommodating and seems well educated. The restaurants terrasse has a stunning view over the valley. We had a splendid meal from the alacarte menu with excellent main course! The veal was tender and juicy! We highly recommend a visit to this restaurant!

Food is fine, great ambience, super staff. Just not outstanding. They were extremely accommodating when celebrating a retirement.

Another fantastic meal at our wedding hotel. The view is to die for, despite having seen it a hundred times. Sunset is best with a glass of wine or cocktail. Service and food amazing as always.

The menu is pretentious, and has a price that matches it. The quality however, doesn't come anywhere near the expectations. Rather small portions, nothing really special. When you've finished your plate, you can see the 'rims' of food caused by overly refrigerated food. The staff is overly formal, the red wine served too cold. Luckily, we skipped breakfast in the... This is an incredible venue set in the hills overlooking Salon. And befitting the location is the excellent staff and high quality food. Our waiters were polite and efficient, and the food served perfectly cooked and full of flavours. If you are looking for a romantic setting that won't disappoint, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

The combination of the food and view were out of this world. So quiet and peaceful - though some may find the silence deafening! A very special place.

The ambience at the Abbaye de sainte croix was superb! We did not regret the large amount of money spent on average food. The amuse bouche was the best part. We all agreed we would go again for a lighter, less expensive meal just to vosot the Abbaye.
