We had a great dinner here and came back a few days later to have more French Onion soup for lunch. The very best we found on our 2 week vacation in the Alps!!

Very popular restaurant serving excellent, region-typical food. A little pricey, however portions substantial, service friendly and efficient.

My wife & I have eaten the 3 course 15.90 menu twice this week, blown away the general standard is way above what your paying for. This has to be the best bargain in Chamonix

We were a group of three and had mixed feelings. One of us ordered French onion soup and felt it could have come out of a can. Another ordered steak which was tough and the fries were dry and overlooked. The mussels were excellent and we had one super happy person I our party. All of this plus a beer... More

OK for the price and service. The escargot was seasoned just right. The mussel was a little salty. The fries, tasteless. The beef carpacio was just normal. If you have limited time in Chamonix, you can pass on this one and try others.

Had the beef fondue - the meat wasn't good, tough and tasteless. Same with the spaghetti bolognese, which needed lots of salt and pepper. The waiters were friendly enough but the food just wasn't good.

Looking for lunch place in Chamonix we ended up in Le Dru. We settled for Mussels and frites and it turned out to be a very good choice. The waiter said most people were sceptical to order mussels way up in a mountain resort, but they should't be. Excellet mussels and especially the tasteful soup in the bottom of the... More

If you like cheese fondue, go to Le Dru. The food and service were exceptional, and so was the wine. The ambiance was outstanding and the views spectacular. We over looked a river and had an incredible view of Mont Blanc. The sun was setting and the colors were magnificent.

4 young ladies wanted to celebrate our last night in chamonix with a nice French meal. Turns out Le Dru was not the right choice.. First of all the waiter was especially impatient and unfriendly. And the food... well the steak was uneatable. 3/4 of it was left on the plate. Another waiter that came over had nothing more to... More
