Not as pricy as you would think and with a daily special that never disappoints. Book if you it is busy season or the weekend or you are unlikely to get a table. Bright and spacious and less cheese smelling than most Cham restaurants are bonuses. Great wine list. Their menu options makes it affordable enough to come back more... More

A lovely reconstruction of an old farmhouse wih a fire for grilling meat and smoking charcuterie, and a shady terrace for the summer. It's broken up int three rooms for a cosy, intimate feel. Always excellent food, with an emphasis on Savoyard and rustic classics, and lots of home-grown fruit and vegetables. The menus change with the seasons, with great... More

As a group of 12 you expect some challenges but we were wrong. First class service, great food, lovely wine, top quality evening. Would recommend.

Went to this restaurant in an evening with a group of friends (12 people in total). Service was slow - to order at first, to get extra drinks, to have tables cleared, etc. The food though was good although the desserts were a bit hit and miss.

Dear Sir, I am pleased read it was not the first time you came in our restaurant la Maison Carrier. I hope this bad experience will not be your last visit. Regarding your description, may I say that the 'pig trotters' is a very special french dish. It is served crusty, with all bones of the trotter inside and it... More

Very nice place with a cozy yet upscale setting. We had high expectations about the food especially with the selection of the meats. To our disappointment, the main were not good at all! The pork fillet mignon was very dry, the lamb rack had absolutely no taste, and was barely warm.. The good news is that they offer a large... More

We received a recommendation from our Club Med Concierge. Ten gentleman for dinner. They handled us with class and style. Cocktails in a lounge overlooking the pool. A great wine list. Escort to our table. Exquisite service. Fine French dinning from an excellent menu. Was pleasantly surprised by the bill. Not inexpensive but not extravagant. If you go you will... More

We had a truly memorable meal at La Maison Carrier on Christmas Eve 2016. Wonderful setting, friendly and welcoming staff and such fantastic food. The cheese board (or should I say trolley) was another course all by itself. Not for the faint hearted.

Installed on small chairs like the pasture and under the old wood paneling of the reconstructed farmhouse is a cuisine to be enjoyed on checkered tablecloths our country restaurant. Back in time to rediscover the old-those dishes simmered by our grandmothers, who hummed hours on the wood stove - is what we offer to our guests. Summer on the terrace facing Mont Blanc, the winter near the terminal, high Savoyard fireplace, is enchaineront popular dishes of popular cuisine: calf's head invigorates sauce, grilled pigs feet, the bowl Chicken liver, the roast lamb on the spit, pike quenelles in crayfish sauce, Piedmontese risotto or fried whitefish fillet. Of course, the chef Stephane Gassot did not forget to revisit some cheese specialties and bring up to date the classic old desserts.
