Great services and good food. We were fortunate to be there when they had fresh oysters, excellent. The food was very good and I wish I had room for desert because it looke awesome. Loved the decor and atmospher

A lovely little place tucked in a corner. Met an old friend (now a local) there for a cuppa. Did not eat however the patisseries that kept coming out of the kitchen looked absolutely to die for. Staff were very helpful when I left my sweater there. Kept it aside for me and I picked it up the next day.

It is a very typical French place, with nice atmosphere and very tasty toasts. They offer cold and hot toast; cheese and pâté, all is very tasty, well presented and carefully selected. Nevertheless it becomes a bit insufficient if you are hungry and you really want to eat. With one toast and a pâté to share we still were hungry.... More

A lot has already been written about this place. Tartines, what could be simpler, but you need to make them good for people to come back. Well, that is the case, simple, affordable and simply good. A great ambiance, difficult to get seats, as the place is regularly completely packed in the evening. The desserts are amazing, HOME MADE (you... More

Tucked away on a side street, you'll fall in love with this rustic looking bistro! I had the 3 cheese and pear tartine which is an open faced grilled sandwhich. It was fabulous bursting with flavour. Waitress was very pleasant. Wonderful desert selection although I only had a cappuccino, which was equally satisfying. I would recommend this place and would... More

Excellent tartines in a lovely and casual restaurant with cute decor. MStaff were busy, but attentive. My boyfriend and I had the duck/cornichon cold tartine, the 3 cheese and pear warm tartine, as well as the soup du jour. Both tartines were good, but the cheese and pear tartine was really excellent. For dessert we had the hazelnut praline tart... More

Simple food that was well prepared. Server was incredibly sweet and helped us out in explaining how much we should order :) $32 for a bottle of great house wine, pumpkin soup, potatoes gratin, and two tartines!

We had to wait about 15min for a table for lunch after some heavy rain was over. The food was great and we just looked around at what everyone was eating and ordered. Unbelievably good food for only 57 euros for 3 people. We had our first tartines and were they great. I highly recommend this place!

L'Epicerie is a busy atmospheric little place decorated with shelving of old kitchen cupboard items. They have great tartines (open-faced sandwiches), potatoes gratin, and delicious fruit tarts at great prices. The beer is over-priced and the carafes of wine are not the best quality, but the casual atmosphere and good prices make it a great stop when you just want... More
