Thanks to my colleagues I discovered this fantastic restaurant. The place is really nice and restaurant is inside building of old train station. Menú with wide choices. You must end your dinner with their fantastic Babá Rhum!

Well located at the old train station, food is perfect, wine choice extensive, service perfect but too many tables. Not enough room between the tables, other guest keeps on bumping into your chair. But service is impeccable, fast and professional, food is great

Within 20 minutes of arriving, we had been served aperitifs, starters and main course. As soon as we finished the main course, our plates were removed and we were given dessert menus. We had barely started our wine at this point. Within the next few minutes, 4 different waiters asked us if we had chosen dessert. I explained to the... More

I used to come here very often in the past. But I went back 2 times this year and they are doing business with their brand and name. The quality is not there anymore but the price are still high. Waiters are performing a kind of "show" to impress but on the basic things like bringing bread and water they... More

This is where you get the true taste of France. The atmosphere was vibrant. The prices was on the higher side but to be expected in this type of French Brasserie located in the beautiful old train station. Highly recommended

My friend and I went to Brasserie L'Est for lunch on a Sunday, without reservations. We quickly learned we should have made 0ne, but we were offered a table on the terrace. We took it. We had a lovely meal; I had rotisserie chicken and she had lamb. Both dishes were excellent. Neither of us had room for dessert. We... More

Sunday lunch at 'l'Est' is a recommendation Very cosy, 'home' ambiance, nice people, well trained staff, good food. easy access, and parking right in front of the restaurant It was incredibly busy, but this was not annoying; on the contrary it made the ambiance of the restaurant

Late visit without reservation. We walked in without knowing this is 1 of 4 brasseries in Lyon by Paul Bocuse. Very classical kitchen brigade, in the back I could see an army of Bresse chicken spiroasting. We got a table eventually, and ordered. Fair prices I noticed. The food arrived after not too long of a wait, and was all... More
