We had a fab meal here. It was busy and the atmosphere fun. I loved the fact my cote de beouf was cooked on an open fire!!

Vintage and very small inside. MUST book in advance but it is worth the wait! Meat is absolutely out of this world cooked in the fireplace! Make sure you skip lunch before going there for dinner so you have extra room as portions are generous! It is a must to go pigging out spot when you in Alps. Great, friendly... More

Eaten here several times over the years and it is always very good. Particularly if you are a meat eater!

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Val, very popular with locals and excellent value for money. I don't look at the menu any more, 12 snails and a cote do boeuf to share is all you ever need. Staff are incredibly friendly so I find some of the comments on here surprising.

I have been to this restaurant more times that i can remember. It does the most amazing côte de boeuf cooked on the open fire. Your meat is presented to you first and then cooked to your liking. it comes complete with the marrow and sides of your choice. The service is great and always friendly. You can also order... More

This restaurant is well known as an established place owned and run by a French family. It's speciality is cooking your meat on an open fire in the main room. The food is good but the decor is dated and the owners and staff whilst efficient are not warm

We were recommended this place and had high expectations, we were a large group of 12. We were seated but left for some time before our drink order was taken, in fact we had to help ourselves to a bottle of water on the bar as our children were very thirsty and the restaurant is rather warm. Our food order... More

We visited the restaurant with a group of friends after first visiting four years ago and it was just as good this year as it was then, in fact I think it was better this time. Can't recommend enough.

Just back from a week in Val and went to this restaurant twice. The food was plentiful and very tasty. The staff made space for us as we forgot to book. Booking is essential esp on wednesday nights. Its a bit pricey, but thats is Val for you!!! Recommend.
