Great vibe lovely menu and amazing but expensive wine list. You must go as it is an amazing experience especially the antics of some post lunch when the live music is really reved up. ECD London

First time sitting outside at La Fruitiere and such a treat to enjoy the sunshine. Normally we are inside watching others freezing outside! The food was outstanding as usual although we really missed the bottle of delicious milk that used to be on each table. Our dishes were all excellent - burger, roasted suckling pig, veal thigh steak, diots, steak... More

We have been to this restaurant many times, and I must say that it has slowly gone downhill. The food is still excellent but I feel service now let's it down. We had to ask for menus, we then had to ask for our order to be taken. The food arrived quite quickly is as good as it always was,... More

La Fruitiere might be one of the priciest mountain restaurants, but it's well worth it. The food was exceptional even by France's high standards. I would highly recommend the onion soup, as well as the chicken dishes. We also ordered the plat du jour, which was an amazing osso bucco over tagliatelle with fresh tomato sauce. As you eat, you'll... More

We lunched twice in La Fruitiere during our ski week in Val D I'sere once inside and once outside. I love this restaurant there is a wide choice of food which is fresh and well cooked and the portions are very generous. But just as enjoyable as the excellent food is the people watching where it seems as many people... More

This restaurant is my favourite across all the Alps. The Beef stew is off the scale great. It's not expensive when compared to many of the other restaurants in the resort and you get value for money, it's cheap when compared to eating in a regular Swiss mountain restaurant. The staff are always friendly and the quality always high. I've... More

The food here is good but expensive. It took ages to order the wine however the recommendations were excellent. Ingrid our waitress was fun and attentive for such a packed dinning room. Atmosphere was good but you do pay for it!!

It is a very nice place with full of energy with tons of people. Service can be little bit awkward if it is too crowded as usual but this is very normal. You can sit outside if you wanna party and dance. Food is good especially oysters were incredibly fresh. I would definitely recommend to pay a visit.

I have given this restaurant a 5* rating because the staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. For us, this offsets the price. There were also onesies with no legs (like sleeping bags with arms..) which kept the cold off - a must for an extended February al fresco lunch. The Folie Douce table dancers and dance music... Description
HIGH, CLASS, DINING(butcher, cheese maker, fishmonger, wine maker, baker..) and the modern, specially adapted techniques required (low-temperature slow cooking, heat-immersion, vacuum and pressure cooking…). The whole menu makes maximum use of quality local (Savoyarde) produce, an open invitation to indulge in the superb regional food culture. La Fruiterie is equally original in its interior design, taking its inspiration from the old mountain dairies, with a thoroughly modern design interpretation: from the white metal milk churns to the regional Beaufort styled furniture, the visible zinc pipework to the staff uniforms. The staff team are young, enthusiastic and dynamic, from the kitchens to the front of house, the emphasis is on a totally cool client/staff rapport, creating powerful customer loyalty.
