Went there twice during our stay . We had snails on both days - delicious . The herb butter in the snails was super fresh and tasty . Seafood casserole and fondue were both excellent . Service was quick and staff were friendly . Lovely decor , warm alpine cottage feel . Highly recommended . Nothing much for vegetarians if... More

I've been meaning to have a meal here for years, I wish I'd got round to it sooner. The food and the service were excellent. The restaurant was cozy and welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. I had escargo followed by cheese and bacon fondue, it was delicious. I would book a table in advance... More

We come here every year, usually 4 of us and we typically take the raclette This year was no different. A great place with great atmosphere. Its busy and crammed but a nice cosy feel to the place. Happy to say we plan to come back next year when in Val.

Great service, family friendly and reasonably priced. Request a downstairs table if for any reason stairs are a struggle. Kids menu is a fair selection.

Chalet staff night off needs cheese fondue! We've been to Val a couple of times and this is the best fondue we've ever had. Escargots to start were delicious garlicky buttery and staff were delightful. They recommended a GREAT wine- award winning Savoyard, right on budget, and couldn't have been more pleasant on a hot, busy evening. Deffo going back.

We arrived quite early and got a table without a reservation in this quite large restaurant. Staff were nice and efficient. We had the casserole (meat stew) with beef in red wine sauce, which also contained some vegetables. There was a choice of potato gratin, crozet gratin (a type of pasta gratin) and salad. I and my husband had one... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal with the family. We started with a shared plate of local sausages and then on to a fondue which was generous and gorgeous. The restaurant had a rustic feel and intimate atmosphere. It got a bit warm in there with all the fondues going but the only real complaint was that we all ate far too... More

First night in Val d'Isere; the 5 of us were hungry so the meat and cheese fondue went down well and I had an unremarkable veal and mushroom casserole. We had 5 or 6 different girls serving us, there was a rushed and impersonal atmosphere. At the end a waitress said could we go and pay the manager. Rather unusual?..... More

First of all, I wish I brought another stomach as well. We ordered raclette with a lot of delicious extras. We spent a couple of hours eating very tasty meat. The cheese was just from another world! Could easily stay for a couple of more hours if I had brought that second stomach.. It´s quite expensive, but pleasant to dine... More
