Welcomen to this authentisch deutsch Restaurant! The best food ever eat in Europe - even St. Tropez couldn't compete. The best helper was my attendant croatian lady (forgot her name) and met Mr. Shneider who himself put some german Kartoffeln in my plate. The gesture touched me very much; they made me feel at home. Greatly recommended but please make... More

The food is amazing and I'm a tough critic to please. It is a family owned business and they make you feel like you are a part of that family, as soon as you step through the door. Herr Schneider comes to your table several times to check in on you. It was some of the best food and service... More

This just became of my most favourite restaurants in the world! Incredible hosts, who although have limited English, made it a point to come to our table to say hello! They made us feel as though we were eating in their home. Book or you will not get a seat. We have tried for a couple of years to get... More

If you wish to discover a part of the German gastronomy, it is here that it is necessary to go. The menu is completely typical, with dishes which we know little at our home and expressing the local cooking. You will discover the veal kidneys in the mustard of Dijon, the duck Saint Martin with red cabbage and big gnocchi... More

Schneider's Weinstube & Vinothek definitely deserves high ratings it now enjoys. It has everything a tired travelers like us desire. Food. It is not your usual wursts and sauerkraut that is a cliche for German food. The chef has real good imagination and comes out with real innovative dishes. The local products are of highest quality. And the portions are... More

Our hotel desk manager recommended this restaurant and managed to get us a reservation on short notice. Even so, we shared a table for six with a couple from Indiana whom we met while waiting for a table. It turned out to be an enjoyable time.We had a delicious entrecôte (perfectly cooked) and surrounded by four different vegetables (including ratatouille).... More

The restaurant is located on one of the side streets in downtown Baden-Baden. Make sure you have a reservation as this is a rather small place. We went on a monday and were lucky that we came early enough and still got a table. All others after us had to be turned away due to them being fully booked. A... More

We had a wonderful dinner here two nights ago on our last night in Baden Baden. Mr Schneider was an absolute delight to have in the dining room, welcoming every guest with a genuine smile and handshake. We felt like we were at his home for dinner! The food was great, the ambience perfect and the wine, beer and schnapps... More

Traditional decor with a warm welcome. Mixed ages and all enjoying the food and the atmosphere. We visited last week and managed to get a table that evening. The owner is charming and informative. We had an excellent meal, regional, but not overwhelming in quantity.

The owner and his staff made us feel so welcomed. They gave us English menus which helped enormously. The veal cheeks just melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant for some authentic German food but please ensure you ring ahead and book as it was packed with locals and tourists.
