The beer is very good and they have a great selection. You can have a lot of typical southern German Food. You will get everything you'd expect in a Brewery.

The quality of the food is poor, the pork was not fresh but preheated and overcooked. The spatzel was just cheap pasta with cheese but not the real German spatzel. The waitress didn't bring the receipt, just said the price. On top of that, there were a couple of bugs on the table. There were a few Germans but none... More

This is not fine dining but it is fun. Service is sometimes a bit slow but mostly OK Eat the typical dishes don"t try anything clever. Drink the house brewed beer and you won't go wrong.

We had tried quite a few breweries/pubs before we went to Martin's and this one surely had the best-tasting beer! Although the staff wasn't too friendly the beers totally made up for it. Cozy place as well, I recommend sitting on the second floor!

The food arrived cold. It took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive after they heated it. The sausages were average or less, in taste, and the schnitzel was heavily breaded and oily. The salad was simple and meager. The beer was not to our taste. We tried a couple but the effect was not enough to cushion the... More

A bland and somewhat forgettable meal. I would expect such an establishment to make an effort to source their products from 'Freilandhaltung' or 'Biolander' sources. It was not explicitly clear that this was the case, so one must assume the contrary. Overall a dissapointment.

After a long drive from Bavaria, we arrived here road weary. Our waiter put us at ease immediately and spoke perfect English. The atmosphere was lively and fun. The food was great, very reasonably priced, and the beer was terrific. I suggest the dunkel.

Good atmosphere, busy on a Saturday afternoon. We'd just eaten in the market hall upstairs so didn't eat here but the beer was tasty and the food looked nice.

Ordered potatoes soup, 4 brat plate and "cheese curd". All was delicious. We sat in front of the cooks and watched them work with German precision. Very impressive. Only thing my husband didn't like is the beer but that's personal preference. He got a blonde because they didn't carry the non German brand he wanted. Good value, we'd come again.

This is another brewery in Freiburg. They have a many choices for lunch dinner. Their house beer is good.
