We stopped by Landgasthof zur Lilie Restaurant after our walk to Triberg waterfall with the intention to have coffee and cakes. We ordered coffees, sacher torte and kirchen torte (or blackforest cake), and we loved both. As we were eating the cakes we saw the waiters brought pork knuckles and other main course meals to other clients and the food... More

I have read quite a few reviews about this restaurant and others close by, but at the end we decided on Landgasthof zur Lillie and we weren't disappointed. The food was really good especially the Spätzle ,however me and my husband didn't quite like the Knödel. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy. Service was very fast and the portion... More

We stop by Triberg and had a wonderful lunch at Landgasthof zur Lilie. Atmosphere was typical Black Forest. The waitresses were very efficient and fast. We had roasted goose which was very delicious. And not to forget the amazing Black Forest cake.

After a couple of bad meals in this town wasn't holding out much hope for this place but glad to say i was wrong. As other reviews have said this place is divided into 2 areas, i chose the back for its hunting hall feel. the service was good the servings were large and it was well priced. Of the... More

My wife and I stopped by here around 4 p.m. for an early dinner after a visit to the falls. The menu has English translations, the wait staff is extremely friendly, very attentive service and the food was really really good. Atmosphere is great as well. I would recommend to anyone passing through. Very fair pricing, especially for the quality... More

Great food and most of all the portions are huge. The Black Forest cake is amazing. Kids and wife had to get a bag to take home. The hall upstairs is large and well decorated.

This restaurant has a quaint front restaurant and a really large hall at the back, separated by the kitchens and bar. It was all very nice, a great traditional decor throughout. Our group sat at the front part. We found the service to be excellent and the food was almost as good. They were also decently priced, our family of... More

While pork is very common throughout Germany I found quite a few dishes of wild boar in Triberg and opted to eat at this Gasthaus which sits at the base of the waterfall along the B500. The atmosphere was that of a cabin one would find in this part of the world, wooden structure, hunting trophies etc. I ordered the... More

Nice food, great ambiance, superb location! The food was very solid German fare, a little "touristy" but exactly the experience we were looking for. Excellent service, good beer-- overall highly recommended.

Wow, we just happened to find this place and it was a gem. Many tables were reserved so we crammed into the small bar area and we are glad that we did. The barkeep, an older gentleman, was engaging and made us feel welcome. He recommended the black forest cake with a spritz of alcohol (kirschwasser?) and wow...Wow...it was good.... More
