The terrace is nice, the steaks are great-in the photo is best waitress that served us well. I recommend beef filled steak, the asparagus soup was so fresh as it's the season.

If you are coming to Heidelberg and would love to enjoy some traditional German food you must visit this restaurant. A perfect location close to the river and the old bridge. You won't be disappointed

This was the kind of soothing venue that makes you feel comfortable. Brightly lit but nice wooden tables and quietly buzzy atmosphere. Service was ok though took a long while to order. Food was pretty good. Soups were quite nice; roast beef and remoulade was...More

Went here following the plethora of great reviews, didn't disappoint until we got the bill. €6.95 for bottle of still water as there's no tap water and charging full price for a half size kinder pasta took the gleam off big time

Dining as part of a large group didn't affect the quality of service we received, nor the quality of the food. Dining off a set menu I had the potato soup followed by the best rump steak I've had for years (if not ever), with...More

An eye for detail, a menu that is more than a notch above the rest. Regional German food prepared with love for the dishes. From the scallops with beetroot to the impressive steak (Pflasterstein) and proper Schnitzel. The changing seasonal menu competes with the regular...More

The food here varies from traditional (gourmet) German dishes to things like fresh made Italian Gnocchi. I've eaten here three times and it has been consistently great service and good food. The atmosphere is very special - it is warm and elegant, while still feeling...More

Description
In an early 18th-century town house on the square in front of the Old Bridge in Heidelberg, the Nepomuk inn welcomes its guests with family hospitality and good food.

On the menu of the traditional inn, regional specialties such as Swabian Onionrostbraten from the Argentinian Rinderrück with homemade Spätzle or beef roulade on homemade red cabbage and potato pots and much more. The varied evening menu shows the whole variety of the regional cuisine of Baden and the Palatinate.

The inviting ambience in the inn and the quaint hunting lodge provides an ideal setting to dine comfortably with friends and family or to celebrate one or the other festival.
