... where you can eat bavarian foot either "to go" (you take it with you and eat outside, especially in spring, summer, and autumn) or you eat inside, typically while standing (i.e. there are tables, but no chairs). You can for example choose "Leberkässemmel" (a meat loaf popular in Bavaria and Austria, that is pork inside a bun, normally eaten... More

The restaurant offers a variety of fast food at cheap price. I was quite satisfied with the roasted pork knuckle. Of course it could not be comparable with those served at quaint restaurants.

Although they abound in Munich, they are not all the same. Some take more care than others with food, temperature and hygiene, but on the whole, they are more than passable.

This restaurant/ butcher shop is a chain and I visited the one at the vikyualienmarkt. Had a great local sndwich, in English " meat cheese" with mustard that was hot, fresh and tasty. They do a booming lunchtime business with local and tourists. Also sausages and pig knucjle, also a speciality.

There are many locations in and around Munich, great for a quick meal on the run and/or takeout. But the food is very average, look for better places.

I am not writing about Vinzenzmurr on October fest ut about their stores scattered around the Munich area. The best butcher shop in the world! Their Leberkäs, crisp buns with steak Tartare, weisswurst and other tens of hams, sausages, salamis and other meat product are excellent as a snack (to eat inside the store) or for taking home. Try it!

We discovered Vinzenzmurr while staying in the heart of the Alt Stadt. We were looking for a cheaper lunch alternative to the Bierhalls and Biergartens. A variety of fresh sandwiches can be found for €2-3. Grab some cheese and a cheap Italian Chardonnay €3.99 (The German equivalent of Three Buck Chuck) and you have a delicious meal. For two people,... More

This was one of the best dining experiences we had in Munich. The leberkaes was fresh and so was the roll, coupled with excellent mustard it made a really enjoyable meal.
