If you want to see what heaven taste like, go to this cafe. We had the schmalznudel and a kropfin (donut) and they were WONDERFUL. We even went back the next day. The cappuccinos were also very delicious. I would recommend this is everyone. MUST VISIT!!

We were amazing by the patient (but very fast-moving) queue waiting outside when we arrived. There are only a few options and if you don't speak German you won't have a clue what they are, but the Schmaltznudel is the thing. They can't fry them fast enough and they're sold as fast as they're ready. Eat them hot! We also... More

Just steps away from our hotel, we saw a line of people and knew whatever it was had to be good. The schmalznudel was so good we had one every day. My gosh, fresh out of the oil, deliciously covered in sugar, you could have it for breakfast, a snack, dessert or just because. You can eat in or takeaway.... More

Do yourself a favor and stop by here in the afternoon for a delicious schmalznudel. The ones we ordered were hot off the grill (you can watch them being made) and melted in our mouths. We tried one that was plain and one doughnut that had jelly in the middle. Yum!

We were only in Munich for four days but we ate breakfast here twice - apparently it's a bit of an institution! The pastries (there are four to choose from) and freshly made, extremely tasty and great value for money! Well worth a visit at any time of the day if you're in the mood for coffee and pastry.

Great cafe near plenty of shopping and the city center in Munich. There is a large area outside to sit with a waitress serving the tables. You can only get coffee if you stay. There is no "to go" coffee... only pastries (which are fantastic). Don't miss Eataly across the street! It's a great stop for foodies.
