We came here for the first time since the place changed ownership. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel (18,50 euro), veal meat balls (10,80 euro), a salad with goats cheese (9,90 euro) and two espresso macchiato (2,70 each). Changing a side order costs 1 euro extra. Mayo is 20 cent. The salad was very small and the Schnitzel with fried potatoes way... More

Soups to start were nice. Mine had one massive liver meatball. I had blue fish for my main. Not well seasoned at all. Partner had disappointing gelatine like polenta with average pork and coleslaw. About £60 in total with one glass of wine and 2 beers. Good service.

Good food for a reasonable price. Service was excellent. The beer was fantastic. Not out of this world but good stuff. Wouldn't recommend for a special occasion.

Though there's not a shortage of pubs in Munich, this one is far and away our favorite. Very friendly staff, superior food (BEST Munich Schnitzel in town, great venison goulash, wonderful soups and desserts), and a lovely/serene beer garden hiding right in the heart of old town. We've been here a dozen times in the past year, and are always... More

The restaurant was recommended by my hotel (Hotel Torbraeu) and was consistent with the recommendation. Great beer and hearty German food which was what I had requested. They feature a couple of specials each evening which was very good. Like all German restaurants, bring a hearty appetite or share the mains. Ambiance in the dining area (inside) was also very... We walked to this restaurant from our hotel next to the main train station. We were looking for a traditional Bavarian meal without a touristy experience. Our meal here was very good and the service was excellent. Most of the patrons were locals. Since we had no reservations, we were seated at a large table that we eventually shared with... More

We stopped in for dinner and had no problem getting a table with no reservation. The menu was typical Bavarian fare which was what we were looking for. We sat at a community table and had a pleasant and fun conversation with our table mates. The service was good as was the food and the beer. We enjoyed our visit... More

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant. My husband and I arrived at 6:30, so perhaps were able to beat the busiest hours. We both ordered bratwurst, which came with a side of sauerkraut. The service was wonderful, and Alex (our server) helped us navigate the beer choices. Both the food and drink were wonderful. After reading other reviews,... More

Beer is good, food pretty decent but once it started to get busy we never got the additional items we ordered (not to mention we wanted to order more beers) and couldn't get the check. After asking the third time for the check the waiter yelled at us, and was super condescending. But it seems this may not be an... More

Went to the restaurant with a friend, after 20 minutes our beer didn't arrive. Still no order taken. The worst service I have had in Germany.
