Tapas in Nuremberg ?!? DELICIOUS! My wife and I tried to only eat authentic German food during this trip , but we consistently found either sub par food, similar food in every location , or a failure to be able to seat us . Not here though. We came and on a recommendation from another restaurant that was booked for... More

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Santos. The people are genuine and attentive, the food is absolutely amazing, and we had the unexpected treat of live Spanish music from a group of Spanish traveling troubadours. They are traveling university students (it's called a Tuna). We ordered a variety of things off of the menu: the bread with garlic aioli... More

We travelled to Nuremberg from Australia to catch up with relatives at Santos. The restaurant is very quaint and intimate with larger tables for bigger groups. It's very close to the imposing Castle, beautiful when flood lit in the famous Albrecht-Drurer Strasse. Because we were a fairly large group we left the food choices up to the host and all... More

Reserved a table here for Valentines, firstly the place itself looks terrific, wonderful decor, music played pleasant Spanish serenades, albeit interrupted by lack of continuous playlist, and knowledge how to quickly change the CD on hifi system. Staff were pleasant enough although, did not speak any English so communication was very very painful. Also the service was very slow, no... More

We did our xmas dinner here in december 2015 (about 12 persons) The food was pretty good and kept coming for a long period. Very relaxed eating and chatting. The noise level was acceptable in the back of the restaurant.

I shared a dinner with a friend there. The food was ok and the price quite decent. The atmosphere was pleasant.

On our way back to our hotel after visiting the Albrecht Durer home, we passed a small tapas restaurant called Santos, making a mental note to ourselves to return for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at the array of tapas, all of which were excellent. We started with patatas bravas, dates wrapped in bacon, and pimientos with sea salt. Superb!... More
