Friendly staff, very delicious food, awesome local beer (tried the RotBier). Despite the service prices are not so expensive. Absolutely recommended, very authentic, good atmoshpere.

Authentic as it can possibly get, this is a small brewery tap. 4/5 beers on offer all made by the brewery itself, accompanyed with a selection of spirits and wines. We tried the local specialities of Rot Biew and RoteWeisse which if your a fan of beer then you must try. The place itself had a very relaxed atmosphere and... More

You must go here. This is the real deal, great food, great beer, great service. Prices good too! Even though there are some tourists, it's matched with locals which makes the atmosphere very special. A definite on your itinerary!

This place is only small and makes good use of the space with a cosy feel. We were lucky to get a small table for lunch after the cellar tour. The service was fantastic, one lady ran the entire restaurant single handed and it was so efficient, it would put a lot of places to shame. The food was delicious.... More

Incredible food and remarkable beers. This was one of our main stops in Nuremberg, part of a walking tour through the old town from our hotel nearby. Staff were wonderful and helpful, and the service was great. Loved the traditional foods and the festive mood, even in January. As an American traveling in Europe, I always try to visit the... More

Definitely worth a visit for a local eat and drink. First of all, very appropriate place for business dinners, touristic groups, couples and beer lovers. Goulash was fantastic and exceptional. Prices were so reasonable. Cozy atmosphere.

If you want to experience the original taste of the Nuremberg area – this is the definitive place to be. It has its own mini-brewery producing up to three sorts of local beer. My personal favorite is "Rotbier", brewed according to a long forgotten recipe of the Middle ages. It has a red color, and the taste has a malt sweetness... More

Definitely worth a visit to the underground tours of the beer cellars / bunkers. English audio guide available as the tour is in German. Afterwards visit the boutique brewery and taste the beer then enjoy more beer in the bar. If going on the tours I would recommend getting a nurenberg card as it offers great value for money. One... We visited this place last night and loved it! We had great locally brewed beer and authentic generous food! The goulash and the schnitzel were very tasty! The area around it has many beer pubs and down he hill you can find great bars. Great little part of the old town!
