Stumbled upon this place after dark on our one and only night in town and it did not disappoint. Good menu options... Great food, friendly service, casual and enjoyable atmosphere (ate inside). Reasonable prices and portions on drinks and food.

Wonderful Weiner Schnitzel and mixed grill. Lovely outdoor setting and friendly service. Wine and beer also great. Definitely recommend!

Good menu variety, from burgers to pasta and sausage dishes. The service is fast and the amount of food is good. Prices are about the average

Lovely situated in the nicest square in the old town. Seating both outside and inside. Nice, informal place with very nice food. Nothing gourmet with white table cloths etc. If you are into that kind of thing, this is not the place for you. It is run by a Croat, and the menu offers both Croat and German specialities along... Our first meal in town was eaten at Gasthaus which was recommended to us by the locals. We delighted in the delicious pork roast, sauerkraut and spatzle served in generous portions at a very reasonable price. We hope to eat there again before leaving town. It was also a smoke-free environment which we really appreciate.

Went to the restaurant which was very crowded. Took us a long time until we got our food which was actually very delicious, but just not enough. In the end when we left we have still been hungry

We had lunch here, delicious food with the bonus of watching the world go by as we sat outside in the square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and it was very reasonably priced. Would recommend this as a place to eat :-)

We took our 11 high school students here for a bit of authentic Bavarian food. We stopped in earlier to make reservations. They were extremely accomodating and patient. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The menu is simple and in several languages. It feels authentic not tacky tourist. We all chose from the Local Specialities menu and were very pleased.

We wanted to experience German food our first night in Germany. We were the first customers to arrive and were greeted by 2 employees. Our waitress was very patient and answered our many questions. The food was very tasty and plentiful.
