We were here to celebrate a bithday. And we really had a great evening. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a prefect evening. We had a 4 course meal and enjoyed every single bite.such nice and friendly staff. They always also asked if we were ready for the next course or would like a... More

Our host company chose this restaurant as our final dinner on our final night wrapping up a whirl-wind (3 day) visit to Germany. I have to say the food, the service and the location was something I wouldn't have missed. We had beef, chicken and salmon, tagliatelle, salad and as always it seems, fresh loaves of bread. The meal was... More

This location at the edge of the forest above the Käppele is stunning. It's a strenuous walk up from the city centre. The service, food and wine were excellent. They provided blankets in case it is a bit cool. This is definitely a great place to impress visitors or a date. I recommend to call ahead to book or to... More

Nikolaushof is and has always been my favorite place to go and bring friends who come around for good food and the best viewing of the city of Würzburg. You may eat in the fine dining area with its nicely decorated interior or outside for the perfect city view. Just a walking distance beside the restaurant is one of the... More

It was abit tricky to find this place driving up the hill but once it's found, it's simply romantic and breath-taking! We had a very nice dinner there before leaving Würzburg for home so that was very memorable :-)

Food was good. Tafelspitz maybe a little to dry. Service was good. Silvaner soup was good. Espresso was poor.

Wurzburg would have to be one of Germany's most under-rated gems offering great beauty, history and friendly people. The charms of Wurzburg did not go un-noticed by Hollywood when it was featured as their principal filming location in the 2011 version of the "3 Musketeers", (many of Wurzburg's landmark buildings clearly identifiable in the movie!). History and hospitality is matched... More

The food and view were always very good. On several recent visits, only the view remained as it was.

My husband and I visited Nicholashof last Saturday for our anniversary. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the city. The restaurant provided blankets for us and water for our dog. It was truly a romantic place and well worth the cost. The menu was limited and we would have done better skipping the appetizers and getting a dessert instead... More

If you want to go to a special place with a beautiful view over the valley and old town of Wuerzburg, then you should go to the Nikolaushof for a nice dinner or just sitting outside in the Biergarten or enjoying the outside bar in a nice summer night. For me this is a place to go in summer, but... More
