Looks aren't everything. Decor etc very minimal but the food was really fresh tasting and good! I had vegetarian food and it was all very tasty and unique. Egg fried rice was fab!

Went there for take-away and the service was extremely friendly. Food was prepared in a short time. Good selection of dishes. Enjoyed proper spiciness with the duck dish

My girlfriend and 8 friends travelled to Berlin to celebrate a 50th birthday, they visited this place and had the worst dining experience of their life's. the owner was snappy and rude from the moment they sat down, saying she was to busy to explain the menu! The food was average at best and two of the meals contained hair!... More

A small, discrete, unpretentious and reasonably priced Chinese restaurant in an area which is fast becoming very smart. Very friendly service and excellent food. The meat (lamb and beef) that we tried were very fresh and did not have the overcooked plastic taste of so many Chinese in Berlin. A place to go and eat, not one to go for... More

Never go to this place. I went here to have a quick lunch. The first weird thing was in the number of dimsums brought - there were 6 in the picture, but I got 4. The next - when I got the receipt, it appeared that prices in menu were without tax, but it wasn't stated anywhere in the menu.... More

Our office is a few mins around the block so this place is our lunch eatery every Wednesday and I've been coming here once a week for over 2 years they have somehow managed to maintain the same quality of food over all this time. Of course, I've only ever tried the lunch menu, which consisted of real Chinese dishes... More

Food was good, but the restaurant is a little long in the tooth. Old school menu with decent selection, more of a traditional menu than an enticing one. Staff are friendly and cost is low

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
