Delicious authentic Turkish food. Everything is full of flavours and makes your tastebuds go wow! Fresh and healthy, they also have vegetarian and vegan options. I just wanted to taste every single thing they had on display, it looks so delicious and exotic! Highly recommended!

Popped in here for lunch, which was an extremely friendly and delicious affair! The deli counter leaves you wanting more but the portions are so good that you would only be able to do so if you did take away or came back another day! Lovely and worth a visit.

We visited this restaurant before, this was our second visit. The restaurant is not that big but we were very lucky and got a table (4 persons). The staff was very welcoming. We ordered several small dishes and a good red housewine. The taste was great and it tasted very fresh. We had a great time. Very good value!! Unfortunately... More

The food is vegan and seems good but the stuffed things were cold, and we didn't ate half of it. Not the best place to eat, but nice and not heavy.

The food here is brilliant. My friend who recommended it to me is Vegan and lives in Berlin: it is her favourite brunch place. Having said that I am not vegan and there is plenty for me to eat. The plates of food are more than enough. I had the Turkish plate, You almost get a little bit of everything:... More

This is my favourite restaurant in Berlin, all of the food is so tasty. The food is full of flavour, many times I had no idea what I was ordering of the menu but everything was great. The service is not great but the food is so good it cancels it out.

We love the food at Knofi and we find the staff friendly and eager to please. We have eaten there twice in the last few days and it has been really busy and service hasn't been a problem, even the other night when the Euro cup grand final was on. The atmosphere, food and service was awesome!!! I suspect the... More

We had good food but they sell tap water as still water (bottled but open). We told the waitress and she said she opened it in front of us. Not true.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
