We visited this restaurant twice during our stay and really enjoyed their excellent pizzas. We also ordered the delicious panacotta which the waiter was quite in recommending two to share between the four of us. Complimentary Limoncello at the end of our meal was a lovely touch. Menus are in German and Italian so be prepared for a little translating.... More

What a wonderful place! Ate there a couple of times during our stay, it looks like a shop as you enter, the staff are all very senior! They chat in Italian or German and when they work out you are English, you can have a very broken conversation. The restaurant is charming and full of character, the food was very... More

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay and really enjoyed their excellent pizzas. It was midweek February and it was really quiet but the waiter and owner were really attentive.

This is a gem of a place! While unassuming from the outside, it's like stepping back in time into your Italian grandma's kitchen (if you had one). We love the warm service and atmosphere--this is a longtime family-run restaurant. It's not fancy, but it's a great place for a relaxing dinner including some delicious homemade pastas. The wine list is... More

Tiny place that seems to be run by the family, maybe they had some family staying with them while we were there - it was lovely to see. Food was good, I had the special - spaghetti with truffles and it was great,

Upon arrival the daughther/waitress was soo rude. The owner told us in a very rude way not to speak english and only German and Italian were to be spoken. My friend ask for a tea ( ice tea to go with her pizza) and the wife brought her hot tea- not a problem until she told her to add ice... More

Let's start by saying the food is ok. We had bruschetta and pasta and pizza and it was good but we won't be going back. The proprietor treat us like lepers whilst other tables were carefully and graciously served we were left for nearly an hour without him taking our food and drink orders. It was horrible to be so... I cannot deny the food was beautiful, good authentic beautifully prepared food and so it should get a higher rating however, if I had to rate it on service it would be lucky to get any! I assume the gentleman in question was the owner or one of them, he threw the menus at us, took 40 minutes to take... More

You feel like you really get homemade food. First we were served a Prosecco on the house and then me and my colleague had pasta with a glass of wine. Very nice! No tourist trap like many other restaurants around Savigny Platz. We have booked again for tonight for a slightly larger group.

Authentic restaurant, it's got the look of the 70's, but tastes magnificent! Very hospitable couple is running the restaurant.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
