I had read so much about this place and it's worth every praise. The best kebab we've ever eaten, made with so much love from Mustafa and his workers. Wow.. Just wow! :)

After a night out at Yorckschlösschen Blues and Jazz bar (which I highly recommend btw), we stumbled upon this food truck on the way back to Yorckstrasse metro station. There were about 20 people in the queue before we got served, but it really wasn't a surprise when we finally got to try it. Believe me when I say that... More

The food is good, cant rate it as fantastic or super tasty. The vegetables are fresh, like the spices and they put a little white cheese on the top. Good prices but it is really busy place and you need to wait a lot.

You know it must be good when you see over a dozen locals queuing in the sub-zero, snowy conditions. I wasn't let down, it was an excellently balanced kebab with a generous portion of meat along with fried vegetables, salad and sauce. You can get a beer from an off-license next door and enjoy your kebab even more. It's good... More

I suppose it has to be done, but if you must go to Mustafa's, go when you are drunk or at 3pm. This way you either won't care that you're in line, or the line won't be that long. It's a fine kebab, very tasty with nice roast vegetables and sauce. Pretty salty too. That said, it couldn't possibly live... More

The concept is basically fast food meal but not the greasy and sickening fast food. No, it is about chicken, vegetables, pita bread, sauces, and other amazing things that make the gemuse kebab heavenly. Unfortunately, you will are going to have to wait in line to order your food but the taste is worth the line, the time, the cold,... More

This is the most popular kebab place in Berlin, so you should expect a people line in any time. It's not a problem usually, because kebabs are served fast. Give this place a try. Worth it.

I have never had a kebab before, but I was told if I was going to have one without going to Turkey, I should have Mustafa's chicken kebab. Therefore, my partner and I went to Mehringdamm's Ubahn station on a rainy, cold day in January to find Mustafa's kiosk. I think we were quite lucky with the horrific weather, as... More

I was recommended to go to Mustafas by several people who have been to Berlin before. To others it might not seem worth it to wait in line for 1.5 hours in the cold for a kebab. But I would 100% do it all over again! It was so delicious and full of flavour. I would recommended perhaps visiting just... More

Best kebab ever! The only downside was the long queue, other than that the food was really, really good. If there is a kebab heaven, this would be the place to be.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
