You will have to wait an hour and sometimes longer to taste the Donner but believe me it will be worth every minute. The best recommendation is not to change anything in the recipe and ask to prepare it for you with everything, without additions...More

We waited in line for 45 minutes and it was worth it, so many different vegetables, grilled and fresh, with meat that melts in your mouth like butter, I had the durum and it's a good portion that won't leave you hungry but it will...More

I went on the advice of a Spanish lady who worked in Berlin. I stayed in the queue for 30 mins and almost gave up, good thing I didn’t. It tasted awesome, stuffed with tons of veg.

After reading the hype about this place, we queued for 20 minutes or so for what has been described as a veggie kebab delight. As we got nearer the counter it was obvious that the servers were using the same utensils for meat and the...More

Very nice and tasteful kebab, and a decent size. But but but, personally I don't feel that any kebab, no matter how nice, is worth the 1.5 hours waiting time.

Okay lets confess that standing for an hour in the line seems ridiculous but we went there 3 times and tried the normal and dürüm version of Gemüsekebab. A little bit greasy, yet very delicious due to different seasonings that are added. Definitely worth the...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
