I was staying at St. Christopher's Hostel and Belushi's was the bar at the reception. After an arduous journey, this place was a slice of heaven. The walls with rock gods and their speakers belting out the best of Alternative rock was the cherry on top! They have yum beef burgers; I tried their Uncle Sam and Chicago burgers which... More

Came to watch Joshua Klitschko. Was incredible. Also pleasantly surprised to find a full English on the menu allbeit called 'The Resurrection.' Hashbrowns were heavenly. Joshua won in the most gripping fight I've ever seen. Slight disagreement with management who insisted on using two screens to play highlights from a football match that had no highlights but eventually they relented.... More

Headed here to watch Manchester derby. Decent beer, decent atmosphere and well priced food and drink. Nachos were very good.

If you're looking for a bar in Berlin to watch English football, this is the place to go. Bar, beer and chips, big screen for the biggest game on (for us FA cup semi-final). All the other games on other screens. Plenty of atmosphere and sticky beer floors.

Good for a couple of hours watching a game,I know they have happy hours so there are cheaper drinks to be had but over 4 euro`s for a bog standard draught beer can make an expensive evening

I just tried to buy a burger there. Everyone in the bar was eating something. When I talked to the waiter in a polite way "good evening, I would like to order..." she has interrupted my speaking and said in a very rude way "we are not serving foods, I am sorry" and didn't explain anything. Couldn't understand why they... More

Hi Renan, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review on Trip Advisor. Sorry to hear you felt our staff were not friendly in relaying that the kitchen had closed, we close the kitchen at 11pm every night. This is unusual in context of our normal feedback of guest experiences. We encourage our team to have genuine and... More

Nice hostel bar for a beer with friends if you are on the way. Probably not a place I would intentionally go, but still nice. Location is good, beer cheap, and you can also get some food.

Thank Vittorio G

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
