This restaurant was close to our hotel so we ate here twice. The first time we had arrived from the airport , it was around 3 pm and had not eaten at the airport because the only outlets did not have space to bring our...More

We visited this restaurant on our last night in Berlin and wished we'd gone sooner. The food was tasty and came in generous portions; the staff were extremely friendly and spoke fantastic English (part of the menu was in English as well, so tourist friendly),...More

Found the Spitteleck to be a great place to eat just two minutes walk from Hotel. Food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful, also english spoken. We found it ideal after a day touring Berlin, being able to relax and enjoy the surroundings whilst...More

We stopped here a few times to eat, just drink or simply to recharge batteries. We overheard foreign languages frequently. The fare leans typically German. Lots of meats, sauces, potatoes. Everything tasted fine, a few dishes great (schnitzel with chanderrelles). Try the Radeberger beer on...More

Called in on the way back to the hotel fairly late. Waiter was decent, menu was fairly bland and uninspiring as was the food when it arrived. It wasn't terrible but didn't make us relish a return.

We dined here 3 nights running whilst just in Berlin. This place is very handy for the Novotel hotel and the U Bahn so don't understand why anyone staying in the hotel wouldn't walk 5 minutes for something less bland than hotel food even if...More

We visited this restaurant to get an afternoon snack. We ordered a simple chicken nuggets and chips meal between the 4 of us. I think the waiter didn't speak English..so no light conversation or talk about dishes which is no big deal we got our...More

We are tired of eating in Nikolaivietel area so we chose a new area; We are not pork-eaters, it's such a surprising winner for us once we notice veal and cod on the menu. Positive: 1.Good locaton: the restaurant is right on the entrance to...More

Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
