Great meal here. Friendly and attentive waiters. Real cooking. Had the lamb kebabs grilled on a skewer. They were done to perfection. Included in the meal was warm Turkish bread, mixed salad with a light dressing on it, and rice. Certainly not minute rice, but real rice which tasted great. Oh, and a grilled long green pepper, which was a... More

We had there no 41, whooow what a combination. Try it, indescribable. We was just expecting a light meal, but we ended up eating way too much 😊

Best Doner. Full of locals, so must be good! Excellent food, quick and lovely. Recommended by our tour guide who was English but had lived in Berlin for years. And they don't serve fries - fresh salads, rice and gorgeous bread instead.

we came to Hasir with 10 collleagues. It was not a formal one and still excellent. Staff was very nice and food was plenty. We had a great time and price was very decent. I would definitely go back. If you are staying at the Steigenberger hotel, it is 3 min walking distance! I would definitely go back.

If you want proper turkish food - don't go to this place. The meat is dry the bred is old the rice sticky and overcooked. The only thing you can eat is the Döner but just because its hard to mess a simple meal like this up. Also ther's a way better Döner place just down the street. Can't belive... More

Food very good and decent selection, the breads served are delicious. Although I wouldn't say the service is rude, it's certainly not friendly. Food came fairly quickly however drinks took a while, I would return

Nice döner with real meat, you can really taste the difference. Nice bread, too. However, the service is really bad and not very friendly. So, go here for a great döner, but only if you don't mind unfriendliness.

There is nothing outstanding about Hasir - certainly not in a city full of Turkish food. But if you are in the Schoneberg area, near the Nollendorfplatz metro station, and have a hankering for some nicely done lamb with Turkish spices - then by all means, have a seat at an outside table and people watch. Prices are 'just ok'.... More

We had been recommended this place by 2 sets of locals and it didn't disappoint. Pretty close to Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn station and well worth the visit!

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
