I came to Berlin with my daughter as part of my 50th birthday present. We were in the city for 4 days and came to this little gem 5 times in those 4 days. The beer, food and service was excellent. Don't bother with tacky tourist bars - go to where the locals go - we had excellent food -... More

Came here on a Sunday night, had difficulty in finding it as behind some scaffolding, to make it easier for you just round the corner from Hard Rock across the road, another excellent German restaurant I had Curry Bratwurst which was delicious, prices were really cheap, service excellent. Worth a visit

So hard to find a restaurant that is so cozy and friendly and serves great food as well. Very close to the Ku-Dam . We were seated quickly and received wonderful friendly service by Ella. We did not have to wait long for our beverages and meals. The food was delicious and prices are very reasonable. My husband had the... More

We have been there twice as we enjoyed our diner. They have decent choice of what looks to be traditional German food, which was good. Beware of the servings as it is huge. We took only one main course and shared a desert. The restaurant by itself looks pretty nice and the overall atmosphere is more than pleasant. PS: we... More

A very cozy restaurant with good service and decent traditional German food at reasonable pricing - came here two nights in a row. The pork knuckle is a bit too bland for my taste bud though.

From the first minute I entered this restaurant I know that the smiling welcome was a prelude to wonderful food and I was not wrong! The ample menu offers great starters and authentic Berlin cuisine at its best. Main course are ample and beautifully presented and the food is tasty and served by charming servers. Loved the Fried Liver, Ham... More

We ate there last night as a family of 8 booked at the last minute. The food was great and the service prompt and friendly. We had the potato soup, turnip soup and goulash soup and they were all very tasty. Main courses chosen were the turkey schnitzel, currywurst, steaks and pork knuckle. All the serves were generous in size... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
