There is a reason this resturant is in the top 50 in the world. They are attentive and they make good wine suggestions (I never do pairing) according to what taste you say you like, and the food is EPIC - the portion sizes will...More

While in Berlin I remembered a restaurant I'd seen on the wonderful Netflix documentary cooking show, Chef"s Table (season 3), so I looked up the chef. Tim Raue now has several restaurants, but we scored a dinner reservation at his original one, near Checkpoint Charlie,...More

Very polite, charming and professional staff but easy going in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The menu is second to none. The kitchen belongs to the most creative I have been but in contrast to similar institutions the portions are just large enough to fully...More

We decided to go here at lunch to save some cash but the service and food were still superb. The langoustine and Peking duck dishes had an extra charge but I thought it was worth it. They are my favourite dishes out of the 4...More

I have previously written about how overpriced this place is at dinner. Lunch is better value for money. I spent 182 euros for 5 courses with wine plus water and coffee. Wine pairing is interesting and includes sake. Food was nice but the surcharge for...More

We had the signature 6 course menu. Best langoustine ever. Pork was sublime. Delicious egg. Rest was not remacabIe. I would 5 star any normal restaurant, but for the price tag ($165 pp meal plus wine) and chef we expect almost perfection, and Tim still...More

We went to Tim Raue and counted ourselves lucky to get a table with only 7 days notice. Now we know why -- despite warnings from friends and a concierge -- it wasn't all that hard. A wildly expensive restaurant with food that is simply...More

Lunch menu with 4 courses with accompanying wines just excellent. We started with prawn, tomato & galangal followed by pikeperch, kamebishi soy 10y, leek & ginger and as second main black pepper beef, allium & p.x. vinegar. For dessert we had yuzu cheesecake & caramel...More

My wife and I went in for a midweek lunch and ordered the 3 course tasting menu, we both absolutely loved the pre menu tasting of cashews, pork & peppers! The highlights for us were the super tender flavour packed tender xo beef, the pork...More

I had great expectations for this restaurant, but it managed to exceed them. I had one of the best dishes of my entire life: prawn with wasabi, it made me cry. The duck, pork and truffle pasta were also amazing.

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today

They certainly have a vegetarian lunch menu and I'd be surprised if they didn't also have a dinner one. You can check on their website where you can also make a booking.

The restaurant most definitely has a vegetarian menu, as I enjoyed it while having dinner there. The entire restaurant is Michelin-starred and offers prix fixe menus only, I believe. The price varies whether it's lunch or... More
