We arrived there quite late on a Monday evening and they were closing, but they let us enter anyway. We had a really good cocktail for a fair price, I couldn't have asked more.

Comfortable seats, nice ambient but not very responsive staff. I had Red Breast Irish Whisk, a bit pricey, though a very good drink.

Stumbled across the bar as it was close to our accommodation but great feel and atmosphere to the place. Arrived for an early drink and then came back post midnught and it was heaving (weekend). Great lounge atmosphere and good drinks menu. Just around the corner 100m or so from Senefelderplatz on the S8/9 or U2

I would have given this place an average rating, but on a Thursday night, being one of seven people sitting at the bar, it took a little over 30 minutes to get a drink. The place was pretty full, with several dozen customers, but man, they have to get more staff or train them to make drinks faster. Making people... More

What a nice and warm atmosphere in this bar, furnished with furniture of the 50's! Delicious cocktails and gin tonics!

We were looking for a non smoking bar to have a drink after dinner close to our place in prenzlauer berg. We found this place surfing on line and we simply loved it! Great atmosphere, beautiful location, good cocktail and kind service. We will definitely come back!

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
